UGC NET May Exam 2021 Postponed Due To Covid-19 Pandemic

UGC NET May Exam 2021 Postponed Due To Covid-19 Pandemic : Corona cases are on the rise across the country. This decision has been taken in view of the safety of the students. The test was earlier scheduled to be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode between May 2 and May 17.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to postpone the UGC NET exam to be held in May due to the threat of coronavirus. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal informed about this by tweeting on Tuesday. New dates for this exam will be announced later. So far all the exams in the country have been postponed because of Corona. Strict restrictions have been imposed in many states due to coronavirus.

The Union Education Minister tweeted, “Considering the safety of the candidates and the examination officers, I had advised the National Testing Agency to postpone the UGC Net December 2020 cycle (May 2021) examinations. I urge you to take the necessary precautions for -19. “
